As you can see I have begun to pack. I know... I too am shocked... If you know me at all this is really quite out of the ordinary. You see, my usual pattern is to begin throwing things in a bag about two hours before I need to leave. I believe my overly prepared, list checking wife is beginning to rub off on me (after 13 years it was bound to happen).
So here is the deal.... I am going to forget something. There really is no point in pretending. It will happen. So I propose a contest. State your guess as to the specific item I will forget in the comment section and if you guess correctly you will be rewarded.
I know what you are thinking.... but Chad, won't the guesses remind you of the item that you may have forgotten... well yes, they might but you severely overestimate my ability to retain information. Just ask my very lovely and patient wife.
So go ahead and leave your comment and your guess.

your picture reminded me of my first overseas experience with my dad, he made us vacuum pack each outfit in little bag things to save on space. seriously.
if it gives you any encouragement ... you aren't likely to forget more items than my dad will. just wait for it, at some checkpoint he'll exclaim, "godfrey daniel!" meaning his teaching notes are still in his office (or some other important item).
have fun!! i'm guessing you're going to help with worship out there. what a gift for those people. we'll miss you at ascent, but it's great to know others will be blessed by you.

Hmmm...you'll probably also forgot the cable to charge your digital camera with. That's a pretty easy thing to overlook.
Electricity adaptor, although without your cord to charge your camera, you may not need electricity for anything else. :)
